Nah, more like alchemy woes.

Here let me put this into a language you can understand:

Due to various circumstances in the duels I became both the Engaged and the Rose Bride. Having freed Anthy she ran off with Saionji. They are now deluded into thinking that they are each the Rose Bride and Engaged respectfully, but such is life. Having been left both Rose Bride and Engaged in reality I had to fight even more ridiculous duels with people who wanted to make me simply the Rose Bride in reality when all I wanted to do was to become a noble prince who saved princesses by making them realize that we were all princes.

Having gotten completely fed up I locked away my uniform in a chest. I left on my ring and told different stories about how I got it. I've been wearing the regular girl's uniform, which chaffes my skin and I think I'm allergic to the fabric. But at least I didn't have to fight those stupid duels anymore.

Or did I? I'm still receiving duel requests in my locker and have been trying to ignore them, saying that I have another locker now just down the hall. The requests are now being rerouted and there's really nothing I can do, save to fight to be granted the power to revolutionize the world. I can't be made solely a Rose Bride, nor can I sit back and not fight for who I am.

With a slight rewording, this is something I can aspire to:

"All I wanted to do was to become a noble Knight who saved ladies and those in distress by making them realize that we are all Knights."

Nope, wasn't commanded. They don't command me on such silly things such as names.

This is me more trying not to run away from certain things anymore than anything else.

Well, when I say "command", I mean it in the Empedoclean sense- the Fates move the world into synchronicities that tell us things, including the will of the Gods, which I suppose is another way of saying "what you should be doing".

Please, do me a favor, and don't be intimidated by anyone or anything. You may not realize it, but you and I are quite similar. We're both Pagans. We've both created a lot of websites, been members of more than one organization devoted to Paganism, made e-lists, abandoned e-lists, and collected awesome friends and made amazing lists of enemies and assholes who cause us trouble. You and I also were students of Buddhism- the same kind of Buddhism- and Ceremonial Magic. We are both well-read on Gnosticism. We are both polytheists.

We are nearly identical in psychic constitution; the biggest difference between us, aside from the fact that I'm an average looking guy and you're a hot chick, is that you're vegetarian or whatever, and I'm a devoted omnivore with ideations of carnivorous glory. We both believe in the same Gods, and have written extensively on Hellenism. You even own statues that I own and a certain grape-embossed chalice that I also own. We see many of the same things in religious rites, though we are across the country from one another.

Your victories are mine, in a very strange way, and so any enemies or problems you have, YOU MUST triumph over. We must not allow the forces against to win.

This started with alchemy, then a DS9 episode, then an online class-discussion on the direction and future of those who worship the Greek gods.

Yeah, I've been running, but it hasn't changed the inevitable so I might as well accept it.
